Earl Thomas “Tommy” Jacobs Sr., 79, of White Oak passed away peacefully to be with his Lord on Friday, March 17, 2017.

Earl was the owner and operator of E.T. Automotive. He was a beloved legend in the drag racing community. Earl was a loving husband, father, grandfather, and great-grandfather.

Earl is survived by his loving wife, Sharon; his daughters, Teecie Jacobs Schultz (Mark) and Tara Jacobs Morton; his sons, Earl Thomas Jacobs Jr. (Kelli), Mark Jacobs, and Wesley Jacobs (Ashley); his 13 grandchildren, Earl Thomas Jacobs III (Darcy), Brooke Morton, Dylan Schultz, Dana Jacobs Runals (Matt), Cassie Durling (Cliff), Brooke Clark (Justin), Brittany Clark, Wesley Jacobs Jr., Joshua Jacobs, Morgan Jacobs, Taylor Garner, Daniel Jacobs, Autumn Jacobs; his two great-grandsons, Jacob Turnbull, and Kingsten Turnbull; granddaughter-in-law, Christina Turnbull; his siblings, Barbara Jean Paul (Billy) of MD, Jackie Jacobs (Ruby), Dorothy McCormick (Forrest), Terry Jacobs (Rachel), Jimmy Jacobs (Dianne), Bea Wondree (Michael); sister-in-laws Peggy Bauckman and Brenda Osborne (Mike); special cousin Patsy Parr; numerous nieces and nephews; and his faithful friend, Duke. Mr. Jacobs was preceded in death by his parents, Earl and Lily Jacobs; his oldest grandson, Keith Turnbull Jr.; daughter-in-law Crystal Jacobs; his brothers, Bobby Bauckman and Fred Jacobs.

A graveside service will be held at 2 p.m. on Wednesday, March 22 at Potomac Baptist Church Cemetery, 8103 Comorn Rd, King George, VA 22485.
