John Crockett Kendrick, son of W. P. and M. T. Kendrick, died 11 Feb 1922 at home of a nephew, N. C. Cannon, at Rosedale, Kansas, aged 70 yrs. Husband of Lou (Spotts) Kendrick. He came with his parents to Missouri in 1875 and settled in Albany about a year later. Survived by four sons: William of Washington, Carl of Oregon, Paul of Wichita, Kansas and George of St. Louis, Missouri; five sisters: Mrs. Jennie Barnes of Lego, West Virginia, Mrs. Ollie Cannon of Albany, Missouri, Mrs. Barbara Gillespie of Graham, Mrs. J. T. Watkins of Lynchburg, Virginia, Mrs. Rosie Wills of Paris, Kentucky; two brothers: R. B. Kendrick of Gentry, Missouri and J. F. Kendrick of Boulder, Colorado. Buried in Grandview West (AKA Highland) Cemetery.
