Ray Allen Wright, age 60, passed away on March 19, 2017 in Mesquite, Nevada. Ray was born on July 11, 1956 to Robert Floyd and Carol Laray R. Wright in Cedar City Utah. He attended Beaver High School and 1 year of college in Cedar City, Utah.

Ray was a happy-go-lucky kid that continued into his adult life. He had a wonderful personality and an infectious laugh that would make everyone around him happy. He spent 18 years helping his father work with and train race horses in California. In the past several years, he enjoyed long walks in the desert as he loved the scents and scenery and colors of the Mesquite desert surrounding him. He loved life and he loved people.

Ray served his church as a Genealogy Researcher for his LDS Ward in Mesquite, Nevada. He was also involved in the Scouting program and was a secretary in the Elders Quorum. He loved working for his ward in Mesquite.

Ray is survived by his parents, Robert F. and Carol Wright of Beaver, UT, his brother, Robert (Penny) Wright of Green River, WY and his sister, Pamela (Donald) Mallet of Tooele, UT. He was preceded in death by his brother, Brad Wright.

Graveside Services will be held at 12:00 pm on Saturday, April 1, 2017 at the Mt. View Cemetery in Beaver, UT under the direction of Southern Utah Mortuary.
