Lydia M Holloway, 91, of Onsted, passed away Dec. 12, 2001, at the home of her daughter, Kathryn Carpenter in Onsted. She was born Dec. 18, 1909, in Reading, Mich., the daughter of Frank and Martha (Parks) Garrett. In 1926 she married Meredith Gezelman in Hillsdale, Mich. He preceded her in death in 1941. In 1944 she married Ronald Holloway in Ransom, Mich., and he preceded her in death in 1985.
Lydia was a homemaker and kept busy raising her 12 children. She was a volunteer in the kitchen at Plotter Center, Hudson Center, made coffee and served refreshments at AARP Chapter meetings and volunteered at church dinners.
Lydia made clothes, lap robes and blankets for children through NCA (New Garments Always), Inc. She was a member of the New Hope Tabernacle. She will be greatly missed by her family and the many people whose lives she touched.
