Gilbert Joseph King Sr, 77, of Limestone and Fort Fair Field, passed away Saturday March 18, 2017 at Eastern Maine Medical Center in Bangor. He was born January 12, 1940 in Caswell, the son of George and Pearl LaBreck King.
He worked many years as a drywall man and painter. Gilbert really enjoyed singing at Karaoke .
He is survived by a son Gilbert Jr. and his wife Michelle of Limestone, a daughter April Ann Muckler and her husband Philip of Lincoln, NB, three brothers; James of Fort Fairfield, George Jr. of Van Buren, Douglas of Perham, two sisters; Patsy Planthaber of PA , and Alfreda King of Boston, MA, three grandchildren Philip Muckler Jr of Perth, NB. Joshua Muckler of Edmundston, NB and Russell King of Limestone, three great grandchildren Colton, Miyah, and Paige.
He was predeceased by his wife Irene Theriault King in Feb. 2008, and two brothers Roger and Russell King.
A memorial service will be held at 1PM Friday March 24, 2017 at Lancaster Morgan Funeral Home 11 Clover Street Caribou. Spring interment will be at St. Louis Cemetery, Limestone.
