Mrs. Holt was born July 23. 1916, in Cutler, to Bert and Mabel Wagner Alexander. She was married June 24, 1944, in Chester, to Edgar Holt. Survivors include her husband; a son, Charles of Gallatin, Term.; two daughters, Sharon Hawk of Energy and Yvonne Walters of Percy; nine grandchildren and one great-grandchild; and two brothers, Homer Alexander and Paul Alexander, both of Pinckneyville. She was preceded in death by her parents and a daughter, Yvette. Funeral services will be at 2 p.m. Friday at the Reformed Presbyterian Church in Cutler. Burial will be in the Cutler Cemetery. Friends may call from 4 to 9 p.m. Thursday at the Van Natta Funeral Home in Herrin and from 11 a.m. until time of services at the church on Friday.
