Mr. Burge was born February 26, 1933 in Davidson County, to the late James B. Burge, Sr. and Blanche Farmer Burge Bennett. He is survived by wife of 59 years, Nancy Chambers Burge of Gallatin; daughters, Darlene Lyle of Gallatin and Amy Harris (Ben) of Gallatin; half-brother, Hoyt Burge of Lebanon; sister, Nancy Gayle Brown of Gallatin; 3 grandchildren, Jamie Barlow (Matt), Ashley Lyle, and Hollie Alexander (Chris); and 2 great grandchildren, Hunter Barlow and River Barlow.
