6/10/2019 UPDATE
Abraham MAY not be buried in the Willard Community Cemetery ,Willard, Pender County, NC.
"It is a rather small cemetery and no Newkirk's resting there. One of our NC Newkirks, that lives nearby, just visited and examined all the gravestones. To locate the cemetery she talked with the Post Office as well as some police officers. It is locally known as a "Black Cemetery" and from examining the Findagrave records, it does appear that is the case. In addition, none of the graves are nearly as old as 1823 when Abraham passed".
So I am changing to "burial unknown" per family request.
