Dennis Joseph Weber II "DJ" passed away on March 14, 2017 at his home in Kalamazoo. He was born on June 17, 1959 (on his mother’s 25th birthday) in Kalamazoo, MI the Son of Dennis Weber I and Shirley Weber Kime. Dennis put up a good fight against cancer. He was a kind, gentle, intelligent person with great wisdom and never stopped trying things. He was always was there to defend the underdog. Dennis enjoyed rocket football, playing pool, swimming, cars, and he loved playing the guitar. He loved cars and built & raced a stock car & won a trophy in a top heat. He played guitar & song with “Up with People.” Collected and gave guitars for children to learn to play. He was preceded in death by his brother Mark with whom he had a band "Rock Candy" currently called "Just Us". Dennis is survived by his children; Denise Cole, Terry Weber, Danielle (Blake) Johnson, 8 grandchildren his father, Dr. Dennis J. Weber I Phd, his mother Shirley A Kime of Kalamazoo, his siblings Mike Weber, Ann ( Ron ) Elbing , Tim Weber, Tammie Weber, several nieces and nephews, and special friends; Al Houska, Dell Burnau. Friends will be received Saturday March 18, 2017 10AM- 11AM at St. Ambrose Catholic Church 1628 East G. Avenue. Mass of Christian Burial will follow at 11:00 AM with Father Kevin Covert. Celebrant.
