Rhonda Lynn (Porter) Reaves, 59, of Bettendorf, Iowa passed away on Thursday, March 16, 2017 at Manor Care in Davenport, Iowa.

Graveside Services will be held at 10:30 a.m. on Thursday, March 23, 2017 at Oakdale Memorial Gardens in Davenport, Iowa. A memorial has been established and may be mailed to Bill Porter at 207 W. Division Danville, Iowa 52623.

Rhonda was born on July 17, 1957 in Burlington, Iowa, the daughter of Bill and Sally (Croson) Porter. She married Willie Lee Reaves on May 1, 2007 in Davenport, Iowa.

She had been employed as a CNA, various motels, helping children with learning disabilities, teacher’s aide at Lincoln School prior to earning special needs children education.

Rhonda loved people, especially children. She enjoyed bowling, crosswords, reading, spending time with family, loved to spoil her nieces and nephews.

Those left to honor her memory include her husband, Willie; her daughter, Ashlea Hingst of Keokuk, Iowa; her parents, Bill and Sally Porter of Danville, Iowa; her sister, Lori (Dan) Waldron of Woodbine, Georgia; her brother, Tom (Annette) Porter of La Gorgue, France; her nieces, nephews, great nieces and nephews.

Rhonda was preceded in death by her grandparents and one niece.
