Born October 25, 1931 in Hampton, he was a son of the late Melvin M. and Anna E. (Sunday) Young.
Glenn was a loving father and husband; he worked at J.F. Rohrbaugh for over 35 years driving truck and retired in 1993; he loved country music, horseshoes but most of all he loved his kids.
Glenn is survived by five children, sons, Robert G. and Ronald Young both of Spring Grove, Terry Young of New Oxford, daughter, Donna Baumgardner of Hanover; sister, Lou Ann Bair and her husband Tom, Sr. of Hanover; many other loving family members and friends.
In addition to his parents and wife Glenn, was preceded in death by his son, James Young; four siblings, brothers Ken and Raymond, and sisters, Betty and Lennie.
A graveside service to celebrate the life of Glen will be held at 1 p.m. on Thursday, March 23, 2017 at Rest Haven Cemetery, Intersection of Westminster and Boundary Ave., Hanover, PA with Rev. Eric B. Stenman officiating.
