Tammy was born June 27, 1960 in Cortez, Colorado to Jim and Karen Vines. She graduated from Boise City High School. She married Robert Malone in 1977. They moved to Amarillo in 1983. She earned her associate degree at Amarillo College as an LVN in 1995. She worked at Coffee Memorial Blood Center and Kirkland Court Health and Rehab Center. In her free time, Tammy enjoyed camping out. She was the type of person who took care of everyone. She adored her grandkids and never missed their sporting events and activities. She was loved by all who knew her.

Survivors include her husband, Robert Malone of Amarillo; a daughter, Dustie Hart and husband Kelis of Mustang, OK; two sons, J.R. Malone, and Jeremy Malone and wife Amanda, all of Amarillo; her father, Jim Vines of Dumas; two brothers, Jay Vines and wife Teresa of Amarillo, and Scott Vines of Dumas; and nine grandchildren.

She was preceded in death by her mother, Karen Kay Vines.

The family suggests memorials be made to St. Jude Children’s Research Hospital, 501 St. Jude Place, Memphis, TN 38105; or to the Breast Cancer Research Foundation online.
