Marie Chapman Conner, age 85, of Manassas, VA passed away Friday, March 17, 2017 at her home. Mrs. Conner loved reading the bible, cleaning, working in her flower gardens, spending time with her friends and family, and sharing the love of Jesus. She was preceded in death by her parents William and Laura Jane Davidson, her husband George W. Conner, Sr., and eleven siblings, Howard, Frank, Barbara, Mollie, Allen, Rodney and Charles Davidson, Myrtle Harvey, Sarah Bevins, Lorraine Vicars, and Dorothy Synan. Survivors include her children George W. Conner, Jr., Jerry Conner and his wife Tammy, Melissa Humphries and her husband Ray; her grandchildren, Matthew Mihasci and his wife Blair, Mark Mihasci and his wife Amber, LeslieRae Conner, Chris Conner and his wife Paula, Amanda Mele and her husband Robert, Brandon Humphries and his wife Katlyn, Stephanie Martinez and her husband Alex; and her sisters Ann Bailey and her husband Stu, and Lula Ellen Synan. Also surviving are her great grandchildren, Wyatt and Ainsley Mihasci, Matt, Tyler, and Zachary Mele, Camille Conner, Bella Correa, Blake Martinez, and Wesley Humphries. The family will receive friends from 6:00- 9:00 PM, Tuesday, March 21, 2017 at Souls Harbor Church of God, 8900 Portner Ave., Manassas, VA 20110 where services will be held 11:00 AM, Wednesday, March 22, 2017. The family will also receive friends from 11:00-1:00 PM Friday, March 24, 2017 the Memorial Funeral Directory, 654 Athens Rd., Princeton, WV where funeral services will also be held at 1PM Friday.
