Anna Louise Potter, 97, was recently reunited with her husband, Halbert Brewer Potter on Sunday, March 19th 2017. Halbert passed away January 15th 2006. Louise and Halbert were married just shy of 68 years. Louise died at her residence in Arlington TN. She was a member of Macedonia United Methodist Church and a retired bookkeeper for Arlington Automotive. Louise was a woman devoted to her family. To everyone who knew Louise, she was known for her kindness, generosity, and great sense of humor. She will be greatly missed by all those who knew her. She leaves her daughters Jeanette Sherrill (Kenneth) of Brighton and Marilyn Jones (Bobby) of Arlington; son Terry "Rusty" Potter (Mona) of Atoka; nine grandchildren; fifteen great-grandchildren; and two great-great-grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her parents, Neal Clyde and Alcie Oney Gladney. She was also preceded in death by her daughter Elsie Mae Potter and three loving sisters.
Funeral Services for Mrs. Potter will be 2PM Wednesday, March 22, with visitation beginning two hours prior, all at Maley-Yarbrough Funeral Home. Interment will follow in Salem Associate Reformed Presbyterian Churchyard in Atoka TN.
