Graveside services for Mrs. Eleanor Alberta Wilson, 82, of Louisiana, Missouri will be held at 2:00 p.m. Monday, March 17th at the Bethany Cemetery near Louisiana. The Rev. Randall Cone will officiate. No visitation will be held prior to the service. Mrs. Wilson passed away Friday, March 13, 2009 at the Maple Grove Lodge Nursing Home in Louisiana.

She was born March 8, 1927 in Louisiana, Missouri to Jess and Dolcie King Griffith. She married William Wilson November 4, 1955 at Bowling Green, Missouri and he preceded her in death April 8, 2001.     

Eleanor is survived by two sons, William “Bruce” Wilson and Philip Alan Wilson and fiancé, Sandra Oliver all of Louisiana, Missouri, One daughter, Susan Dawn Cohea and husband, Ray of Louisiana, Missouri, Five grandchildren, Christopher Wilson, Crystal Wilson, Jared Wilson and Michael Cohea all of Louisiana, Missouri and Sheena Cohea of Hannibal, Missouri, Two sister-in-laws, Maude Wilson and Margaret Wilson both of Louisiana, Missouri and Nieces.     

She was preceded in death by one brother, Willard Paul Griffith, who died in World War II and a sister, Mildred Bruce.     

She had been employed as a Machine Operator for Louisiana Plastics until her retirement in 1986. She was a member of the First Christian Church in Louisiana.
