Rhonda June Goedicke Walters, 35, of Parks died Tuesday (Jan. 13, 2003) in her home of gunshot wounds, the victim of a homicide.

Her husband, David Lee Walters, and daughter, Destini Elaine Walters, also were victims of the same crime.

Born June 21, 1968, in Natrona Heights, Harrison, she lived in Parks the past eight years.

She enjoyed listening to music.

Survivors include two sons, Jesse Lee Walters of Parks and Edward J. McNeel III of Buffalo Township; a daughter, Misty L. McNeel of Buffalo Township; her father, George E. Goedicke Sr. of Butler; her mother, Rosemary Kwaitkowski Goedicke of Truxall, Bell; five brothers, George Jr., Scott, Frank and Brian Goedicke, all of Truxall, and Aaron Goedicke of Butler; a sister, Heather A. Goedicke of Vandergrift; and her maternal grandmother, Hannah Kwaitkowski of Truxall.

Mrs. Walters was preceded in death by her paternal grandparents, Howard James and June Catherine Miller Goedicke; and her maternal grandfather, Frank Kwaitkowski.

Friends will be welcomed by her family from 2 to 4 and 6 to 8 p.m. today at CLAWSON'S, Second at Main streets, Leechburg, where funeral ceremonies will be at 11 a.m. Saturday with the Rev. Silas West officiating. Burial will follow in Mount Airy Cemetery, Natrona Heights.
