Russell Clarence Jacobson, age 72, of Marshfield died Thursday March 16, 2017 at The House of the Dove, Marshfield. He was born on May 20, 1944 in Marshfield, son of the late Clarence and Gladys (Hermanson) Jacobson.Funeral Services will be held at 11:00 am Wednesday March 22, 2017 at the Hansen-Schilling Funeral Home, 1010 East Veterans Parkway, Marshfield. Burial will be in Hillside Cemetery, Marshfield. Visitation will be from 9:30 am until the time of the service Wednesday at the funeral home. Russ attended schools in Marshfield. In 1966 he began working at the Marshfield Medical Complex's Animal facility as the animal caretaker. He held that job for 37 years, retiring in 2003. Survivors include his brother and sister-in-law; DuWayne "Duke" and Susan Jacobson, his nephews and nieces and their families; Jesse and Jayme Jacobson and their children; Payne and Hanna, Adam and Jessica Jacobson and their children; Natalie, Eden, Leyla and Jasper, Leah and Matt Hollatz and their children; Heaven, Riley, Mason and Ashton and Nicole Ramsey and her children; Samantha, Jeffrey and Trytan.
