She married Fielding Langford about 1829 at Rockcastle County, Kentucky. They migrated to the Salt Lake Valley with the John H. Higbee/James W. Bay Company of LDS church members. Even though her entire family is not on the wagon roster, except for her husband and daughter, Mary (14) it is believed her first daughter, Matlida Emaline was also with them.
A 6 year old daughter, Sarah, had died in 1851 at Clay County Indiana. Two sons, Fielding and Larkin are unaccounted for, but possibly died in Kentucky, as did a 16 year old son, John Fountain. Her oldest son, James Harvey, may have traveled separately, but he was in the Valley by 1856, where he married and had children at Willard.
Her youngest living daughter, Francis (Franky) would have been with them, as she was born in 1843 at Clay Co., Indiana and died at Willard.
After Sarah's death, her husband married a Swedish girl, Carolina Christina Blocker, who was 40 years younger than he. They had at least 5 more children.
