Jeff Edmon Lewis, 77, of Prattville, passed away Saturday March 18, 2017. Visitation will begin at 1:00 PM Tuesday at Ridout's Prattville Chapel followed by A Celebration of Life in the funeral home chapel with remembrances shared by his son Jeff Lewis. Burial will follow in the Willis-Hinton Cemetery. Mr. Lewis was born on August 17, 1939 in Houston County, Alabama to the late Jeff W. Lewis and Ida Mae Leger Lewis. He was a long distance truck driver for many years and was a member of The Nation's Finest Relaxed Atmosphere. He enjoyed the outdoors and loved spending time with his family and grandchildren. He is survived by his loving wife of 43 years, Carolyn; daughter, Jessica Lewis, a son Jeff Lewis and his wife Miranda, daughter Amanda England and her husband Lexie; 10 grandchildren, Cody, Nick, Hunter, Kayleigh, Conner, Hudson, Neriah, Kailey, Camden and Isabelle; mother in law, Ellie Conner; 3 brothers, 6 sisters and a host of nieces, nephews other relatives and close friends. Active pallbearers will be his grandsons with Forrest "Gump" Warren serving as an honorary pallbearer.
