Mrs. Ida Frances Plymat, 88, of 6500 Sunset Terrace, Windsor Heights, died Friday at Iowa Methodist Hospital of a heart ailment.
Services will be at 1 p.m. Monday at Dunn's Funeral Home on Grand Avenue with burial in Resthaven Cemetery.
Mrs. Plymat was born in Mankato, Minn., and had lived in Des Moines since 1937. She was a member of the Des Moines Women's Club and the Christian Women's Club.
Survivors include her son, William of Des Moines, chairman of the board of Preferred Risk Mutual Insurance Co,; a sister Mrs. Otto Beschnett of Sun City Center, Fla., and two grandchildren.
