She was the owner of the Bali Boutique in Flea Masters for ten years and was a co-owner, with her husband, of a snack food business in Vero.
An avid bowler, she also enjoyed fishing.
Surviving are her husband of 43 years, Robert of St. James City; Daughter Debbie (David) Root of Cape Coral; sister, Maryann (Doug) Spolstra of Damascus, PA; grandsons, Douglas Michael Root and Dustin Robert Root of Cape Coral and many nieces and nephews.
She was preceded in death by her mother, Helen Nolte and grandson, David Lee Root, Jr.
Funeral services will be conducted Wednesday, January 31, 2007 at 11 AM in the chapel of the Coral Ridge Funeral Home. Entombment will follow in Coral Ridge Cemetery.
The family will receive friends Tuesday from 6-8 PM at the funeral home.
In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to Hope Hospice.
