Alma Ingrid Altman passed away on Thursday, January 25, 2007.
She was raised in Katona, New York, and Sarasota, Florida.
She was a homemaker in the Sanger-Fresno area for 46 years.
Prior to coming to Fresno, she worked as a nurse at the Veteran's hospital in Los Angeles.
She is preceded in death by her late husband, James Altman.
She shared a close relationship with her sisters, Lynn Ronning and Connie Tesnow; and brother, Harry Wallgren.
Her brothers Roy and Herbert preceded her in death.
She enjoyed spending time with her family and decorating her new home overlooking the river.
She will be remembered as a giving person and as a very dedicated mother and grandmother.
She is survived by her daughter, Janice Altman of Fresno; and daughter, Gail Kay and her husband T.J. of Roseville.
She also has four grandchildren, Brandon Combs, Courtney Combs, Tommy Kay, and Allison Kay.
Visitation will be held at Lisle Funeral Home on Thursday, February 1, 2007, from 10:00 a.m. to 7:00 p.m.
A Graveside Service will be held at Sanger Cemetery on Friday, February 2, 2007, at 11:00 a.m.
