Judith Kay Hackney, 54, of 24047 Townline Road died Saturday, Sept. 14, 1996, at Proctor Hospital in Peoria.

Born May 7, 1942, in Pekin to William B. and Esther Blackburn Ziegenbein, she married Franklin D. Hackney on Oct. 16, 1960, in Pekin. He survives.

Also surviving are her father of Hopedale; one son, Frank R. of South Pekin; two daughters, Charlene Ohlinger of Pekin and Doris K. Williams of Knoxville, Ark.; three brothers, Wayne Ziegenbein of Pekin, Larry Ziegenbein of Joppa and William Ziegenbein of Long Beach, Miss.; and five sisters, Shirley Fryman and Carol Martin, both of Pekin, Sandra Depue of Marquette Heights, Emma Moore of Joppa and Linda McCarver of Metropolis.

She worked at Wal-Mart in Pekin for 11 years.

Burial will be in Glendale Memorial Gardens in Pekin.
