Hoosier Slain During Argument Over Chili

INDIANAPOLIS, Dec. 11 - (AP) - Five bullets in the chest killed George L. Cox, 63, Saturday night as he berated his wife for serving him chili for supper, police said.

His step-son, Elmer L. Childers, 42, was held for questioning in the killing. Police said Childers is on parole but didn't elaborate.
