Eddie Ray Humberson, age 77, beloved husband for 53 years of Judith (nee Martin); loving father of Ronald (Christine) Humberson, Michelle (James) Collins, Rick (Annette) Humberson; devoted grandfather of James, Madison, Conner, Ryan, Andrew, John and Jackie; cherished son of the late Orval and Helen (nee Savage) Humberson; brother of Betty Lovick, Orval J. Humberson, Gary Humberson and the late Robert Humberson; many nieces, nephews and cousins.
Eddie was born in Hazleton, WV and passed away on March 18, 2017 with his family at his side. Eddie was a longtime Eastlake resident who graduated from East High School. Eddie and Judith also spent many happy years living in Florida and North Carolina. He spent many years working for the Cleveland Press, White Motors, General Electric, and worked for the United Parcel Service for 23 years.
Eddie loved his family and friends, enjoyed car cruising with his Corvette. He also loved playing horseshoes and was the Leo Stevens Open Champion in 2003.
Funeral Service will be 10 a.m. Wednesday, March 22, 2017 at the JAKUBS-WAITE FUNERAL HOME, 36000 LAKESHORE BLVD., EASTLAKE, where family will receive friends on TUESDAY FROM 2-4 AND 6-8 P.M.
