Christian Bahe Dies
Christian Bahe, aged 91 yrs,
father of Henry C. Bahe, of
Waite Park, died last night
at the latters home
following a brief illness.
Infirmities...cause. The
Funeral will be held Saturday
afternoon at 3 o'clock from the
H.C. Bahe residence at Waite Park.
The Rev. Charles H. Fark, Pastor
of the German Evangelical Lutheran
Church will probably Officiate.

"ESCAPED LIGHTENING STROKE
Aged Henry C. Bahe Escaped Lightning
to Die Peacefully Last Night

When Henry C. Bahe of Waite Park
died last night he had outlived
the allotted three scores year and
ten, for he was 91 years old.
Mr. Bahe made his home wit his son
Christian Bahe, an employee of the
Great Northern Car Shops and had
been ill for a year or more. He
was confined to his home during the
past six months and was lying helpless
in his bed when lightning struck and
shattered the house ten days ago.
He escaped without injury only to die
peacefully from natural causes last
night. He is survived by his aged
wife. The Funeral will be held
tomorrow afternoon at 3 o'clock
from the residence of Christian
Bahe and the Interment will be made
at the North Star Cemetery.
Rev. C.H. Fark, Pastor of the
German Lutheran Church will
Officiate if he returns to the city
in time and in the event he does not
arrive will provide a substitute Clergyman."
