James “Jim” Fetty loving husband, father, age 89, passed away at his home on March 13, 2017.

He was born September 7, 1927 in Middlebourne, WV to the late James E. and Asia Fetty.

He is survived by his wife Kay and two daughters, Leslie Fetty of Alexandria, VA and Kelly Fetty of Winston-Salem, NC. and his beloved cat, Tabby.

After leaving the Army he went to work at DuPont Washington Works in Parkersburg, WV where he rose to become Laboratory Superintendent and later consulted with DuPont where he was instrumental in opening plants in Mexico and South Korea.

Jim loved cats and tomato gardening and was a sports fan and avid golfer. He and Kay followed the career of Dottie Pepper, attending many of her tournaments. He followed WVU football and basketball, but most of all he was a die-hard Cubs fan, and lived to see his beloved Cubs win their first World Series in 108 years.
