Thomas T. King was born on June 20, 1934 in Celeste, Texas to parents John Thomas and Pauline Edna (Titus) King and entered into eternal rest on March 13, 2017 at the age of 82.

Thomas was known as "Tom" to his family and friends. Tom graduated Wolfe City High School and East Texas State University. He then joined the United States Air Force, spent time serving in the Vietnam War as part of the 5th Special Forces Group. Additionally, he was assigned to the USAF Presidential Air Crew. He retired after 21 plus years of being a pilot.

Tom loved the outdoors; fishing, hunting and gardening. He enjoyed going to the shooting range and getting some practice in. Tom also like helping out at his church, First Baptist of Gun Barrel City. He served as the secretary and treasurer for his Sunday school class. Tom was a member of the Military Officers Association, NRA, Texas State Rifle Association, Big Rock Gun Club, and the American Legion. He was an amazing man, who was very loving and caring. Tom will be missed by all who knew and loved him.

Tom was preceded in death by his parents and sister Martha Reynolds. He is survived by his loving wife Glenda King of Gun Barrel City, son Thomas Glen King of San Antonio, son J.T. King and wife Wanda of Boerne, 6 grandchildren, 2 great-grandchildren, sister Veta Trahan and husband Jerry of Tomball, sister Glenda Haynes and husband Tom of San Antonio, numerous nieces and nephews, other loving family and many more friends.
