Algernon Stewart
Algernon Stewart, 80, a native of Renton and retired machinist, died in a rest home Tuesday.
Funeral services will be held at 1 o’clock Saturday in the Mittelstadt Ballard Chapel. Burial will be in Washelli.
Mr. Stewart, known as Pat, taught school on Vashon Island when a young man. He had lived in Seattle about 60 years. He worked for the Federal Pipe & Tank Co. many years before his retirement in 1954.
Survivors are a daughter, Mrs. Jacob J. Picinich, 6549 Sixth Ave. N. W., with whom he lived, and a grandson, the Rev. Donald Stewart Miller, an assistant pastor at the Episcopal Church of the Ascension.

On his Washington death record parents show as Richard Stewart and Mary Ellen Davis.

Wife was Winnifred M. Medbury who married Frank C. Leary July 3 1925.

He is buried next to his daughter Ethel Stewart Picinich and her husband Jake Picinich.
