Mrs. T.E. Williams Dead.
Mrs. Thomas E. Williams, 709 Sylvan, wife of Rev. Thomas E. Williams, a Friends minster, died Wednesday afternoon tat 3 o'clock at the home. She had been sick about three years.
Funeral services will be Friday afternoon at 2 o'clock at the First Friends church. Rev. Lloyd S. Cressman, pastor of the church will conduct the services. Burial will be in the Cottonwood cemetery.
The casket will be open at the Reeble-Wood Funeral home until 1 o'clock Friday afternoon.
Mrs. Williams, formerly was Frannie Stephens, the daughter of the late Charles L. and Caroline Stephens. She was born February 18, 1872, in the Province of Quebec, Canada. Mrs. Williams moved to Chase county in 1879 and came to Emporia in 1932. She was married to Thomas E. Williams on April 23, 1891, at Americus. Mr.s Williams was a member of the First Friends church.
Surviving are her husband; three sons, Bevan Williams, of Albany, N.Y.; Howard Williams, of Emporia, and Randall Williams, of Wichita; a sister, Mrs. Zimri Stubbs, of Turlock, Calif., and a brother, Frank Stephens, of Emporia.
