Reta Jane Smith was born August 6, 1942 in Hemet, CA a daughter to Edna L. Harrell and Marvin McKinley. Reta passed away on Friday, March 17, 2017 in Conway at the age of 74.
Reta was a member of Mt. Pleasant Missionary Baptist Church. She was full of life and lived it to the fullest. She had a passion for helping others and loved spending time with her family and friends.
Reta worked as a bookkeeper many years and finally retired from Warehouse Distributing.
She is preceded in death by her parents.
Left to cherish her loving memory is her husband: Robert Smith of Plumerville; Son: Steve R. Smith of Morrilton; Daughter: Christy McCray and husband Lloyd of Plumerville; Two brothers: Bill McKinley and wife Joan and Daryel McKinley and wife Linda all of California; Four grandchildren who were the light of her life: Casey Rogers and wife Vanessa; John McCray, Jessica Mendenhall and Trey Shelton, along with many other family and friends.
Visitation will be from 6-8PM Monday, March 20, 2017 at the funeral home. Funeral services will be 10AM, Tuesday, March 21, 2017 at Mt. Pleasant Missionary Baptist Church in Hillcreek with Bro. Jeff Russell officiating. Interment will follow in Mt. Pleasant Cemetery.
