Robert "Bob" H. Ballinger was born on December 3, 1927 to Thomas R. and Flora B. Johnson Ballinger, and passed away on Friday, March 17, 2017 at the age of 89.
Robert was a graduate of Wilmington High School and Miami University. He was an employee and owner of the Blanchester Foundry Company for over 40 years. Robert was also a member of the Grace United Methodist Church of Blanchester.
He is survived by his children, Greg (Patty) Ballinger, Keith (Paula) Ballinger, Mark (Rhonda) Ballinger, and Kevin (Lisa) Ballinger; 13 grandchildren; 17 great-grandchildren; and a brother, Ronald (Donna) Ballinger.
In addition to his parents, Robert was preceded in death by his wife, Jacquelyn Ballinger, and a grandson, Christopher "Chris" Ballinger.
Friends will be received from 6 to 8 PM Thursday, March 23, 2017 at the Tufts Schildmeyer Family Funeral Home, 120 W. Main Street Blanchester, Ohio 45107. The funeral service will be held at the funeral home on Friday, March 24, 2017 at 10 AM.
Interment will follow at the Blanchester I.O.O.F. Cemetery.
