Mrs. Nellie Maxine Swink Myers, 78, of Winchester, VA; died Thursday at Blue Ridge Hospice Inpatient Care center, Winchester, VA.

Mrs. Myers, born in Fordwick, Augusta County, VA; was the daughter of the late Robert Jefferson Massie and Dorothy Via Swink and the widow of Frederick Clyde Myers who died Sept. 5, 2005. She was also preceded in death by a brother, Walten Massie.

She was a nursing assistant at the Winchester Medical Center.

She is survived by three daughters, Cathy Myers, Lisa Scheulen and husband Jeffrey, and Lori A. Fletcher, all of Winchester; three sisters, Rena Swink, Charlotte Kennedy, and Ann Swink, all of Staunton; five grandchildren, Wendy Payne, Stephanie Fisher, Bryan Barr, Amanda and Cristen Fletcher and two great grandchildren, Colton and Chase Fisher.

The family received friends 6-8 PM, Monday, March 20, 2017 at the funeral home.

The funeral services were held at 11 AM, Tuesday, March 21, 2017 at Enders & Shirley Funeral Home Chapel in Stephens City with Mr. R.K. Shirley III Officiating.

Burial was made in Chestnut Grove Cemetery, Frederick County, VA.
