Mrs. Frye, born in Charles Town, WV; was the daughter of the late Howard and Ruth Barron and the widow of Athie Frye. She was also preceded in death by sisters, Rosemary Ahalt, Joyce Wolfe and Evelyn Fritts.
After her marriage to Athie, she resided in Inwood, WV; for over 50 years in the same home on Middleway Pike. She enjoyed many cookouts and birthday celebrations hosted by her friends and family. She enjoyed working in her yard and making sure her yard was manicured to perfection. She was an avid Redskins Fan and thought she had moved to Texas to be with her family she vowed to never become a Cowboys fan.
She is survived by a daughter, Hope Krum and husband Stephen of Irving, TX; three grandchildren; one great grandchild; two sisters, Bonnie Owens and Dorothy Chandler.
The family received friends 6-8 PM, Tuesday, March 21, 2017 at the Brown Funeral Home South Berkeley Chapel, Inwood, WV.
A procession to the graveside service will commence at 10 AM at the funeral chapel.
Burial was made in Pleasant View Memory Gardens.
