Knowing that her days were numbered by the Lord, Karen Sue Erickson met her Savior face-to-face on March 2, 2017. Death held no fear for her because, as a child, she had placed her faith in Jesus Christ.

Karen, born on June 20, 1955, in Redding, CA, was the youngest of three children born to Nestor and Betty Erickson. She was a member of First Baptist Church of Anderson, CA, where she participated in every activity. She graduated from Anderson Union High School, Anderson, CA, where her love for singing was nurtured. She attended Western Baptist Bible College, in Salem, OR.

She served as a secretary for the Department of Transportation in Oregon. She lovingly cared for her aging parents, Nestor and Betty Erickson, until they passed from this life. She was musically gifted and enjoyed singing.

Karen will be greatly missed by her sister: Sandy (Dave) Sprague and her brother: Wayne (Jana) Erickson; their children and grandchildren, her best friend, Donna Glaze, and many friends.
