She was born Oct. 9, 1929, in Williamson County, to the late Gus Holmes and Lura (Deaton) Holmes.
She married James W. Craig on Oct. 8, 1949, and he preceded her in death on July 7, 1981.
Minnie was a member of the Mount Moriah Baptist Church in Creal Springs.
She is survived by a daughter, Wanda(Barry) DeMent of Elmwood; son, William R. (Lora) Craig of Pekin; six grandchildren; seven great-grandchildren; and several nieces and nephews.
She was preceded in death by her parents; husband; sisters, Sybil Doss, Sarah Garner, Opal Stucker, and Jane Turner; and by brother, Ola Holmes and Kenneth Holmes.
Services will be at 11 A.M. Monday, March 13, in Absher-Nicholson Funeral Home in Carrier Mills, with the Rev. Alan Summers officiating. Burial will be in Springhill Cemetery in rural Creal Springs. Visitation will be from 10 to 11 A.M. Monday at the funeral home.
