Terry Lee Spencer, age 55, of Cynthiana, Kentucky, passed away Friday, March 17, 2017, at his home. A native of Versailles, Kentucky, he was a driver for WT Young and a member of Berea Christian Church, in Lexington. He loved to fish, hunt and find a bargain at the flea markets. His greatest love was spending time with his grandchildren. He was born November 19, 1961, a son of Helen Spencer, of Frankfort, and the late Mickey Spencer.
Survivors include: his wife, Regina Spencer, of Cynthiana; three sons, Joey Spencer (James), of Cynthiana, Jeremy Spencer (Melissa), of Frankfort, and Daniel Spencer (Mary), of Cynthiana; two sisters, Pam Fitzgerald and Karla Downey (Marvin), both of Frankfort; and a brother, Mike Spencer (Sharon), of Frankfort; four grandchildren, Damion Spencer, Jacob Spencer, Sara Spencer and Braxton Spencer; and several nieces and nephews.
Funeral services will be conducted at 1:00 p.m. Monday at LeCompte Johnson Taylor Funeral Home, in Frankfort. Rev. Joe Hatchett will officiate. Burial will follow at Frankfort Cemetery. Visitation will be held Monday from 10:00 a.m. to 1:00 p.m. at the funeral home. Pallbearers will be Ricky Hedges, Dillion Hedges, Michael Bruce, Keith Hall, Marvin Downey, Pat Myers, Aaron Welsh and Richard Jones. Honorary bearers will be Mike Spencer, Dawson Cox, Matt Cox and Delmar Cox. Flowers are welcomed, as well as donations for funeral expenses.
