Mrs. Maudline York Branon, daughter of Mr. & Mrs. Guy York of Rosebower, died at their home Tuesday night after a lingering illness of complications.
She was 18 years of age.
Mrs. Branon is survived by her husband and infant son, Jackie; her mother and father; one brother, J.R. York; her grandparents Mr. & Mrs. R.L. York, and a number of other relatives. She had many friends in the Rosebower community.
Funeral services will be conducted at Rosebower Church by the Rev. Willie Barefield, at 2 o'clock Thursday afternoon. Burial will be in the church cemetery. Pallbearers will be:
Honorary - Velma Rudolph, Irene Wood, R.T. Barrett, Ola May Peck, Henrietta Peck and Moreen Atwood.
Active - J.E. Rudolph, Joe Henry Phelps, Lindsey Bulnois, Pleasant Rudolph, Edward Crowell and Frank Eley.
