William "Bill" Henry Pitts, 83, of Tunnel Hill, Georgia passed away Sunday, July 25, 2021 at his home.
A lifelong resident of the Ringgold, Tunnel Hill areas, he was co-owner/operator of Hank's Carpet in Tunnel Hill and was of the Christian faith.
He is preceded in death by his wife, Doris Marie Dickson Pitts; parents, Claude Martin and Mary Lou Lovingood Pitts; sisters, Sharon Pitts, and Wanda Hicks; and brothers, Kenneth Pitts, Wayne Pitts and Randall Pitts.
He is survived by his children, Laura (Mike) Campbell of Cohutta, GA., Hank (Anna) Pitts of Tunnel Hill, GA., and Patty (Michael) Montgomery of Dalton, GA.; brother, Martin "Red" (Linda Nelms) Pitts, of Tunnel Hill, GA.; ten grandchildren, Bret Campbell, Kyle Campbell, Jessica (Beaver) Robertson, Brian (Kelsey) Pitts, Payton Pitts, Stone Pitts, Willa Pitts, Jordan Patterson, Chloe Montgomery and Ayden Montgomery; great grandchild, Asher Robertson; several nieces and nephews.
Funeral services will be private at Bill's request. Arrangements are by Wilson Funeral Home Wallis-Stewart Chapel 443 Boynton Dr. Ringgold, Georgia.
