Beloved husband, father, and grandfather, Roy Dodd Hodges, passed away March 15, 2017 at his home. He leaves his loving wife of 50 years, Joy (Decker) Hodges; beloved father of Kevin (Kathleen) Hodges, Kathy (Patrick) Conklin and the late Larry Hodges; dear grandfather of Jacob, Georgeanne, Christopher, Jason, Alyssa, and Jaxson; dear brother of Linda (Hank). Roy worked as a 5ESS qualified technician at Lucent Technologies and was a proud marine who served his country. Roy was a quiet man with a big heart who was a devoted husband, loving dad, and "special" grandpa. He loved to fish, scratch lottery tickets, play computer games and enjoyed reading. He always welcomed friends into his home. Visitation 10:00 a.m.-12:00 Noon,Tuesday, March 21, at Hutchens Mortuary, 675 Graham Rd., Florissant, followed by a 12:00 Noon funeral service. Interment at Jefferson Barracks National Cemetery.
