Georgia Sharlene Williams Browne died November 17, 1998 at the age of 65 after a short battle with cancer.

She was born August 12, 1933 in Salt Lake City, Utah to George and Grace Williams. Married Charles Phil Day, May of 1951, later divorced. Married Donald Edward Browne February 17, 1964. She worked as a ward clerk at South Davis Hospital for years. She served in several positions in the LDS Church. She was a loving mother, sister, grandmother, great-grandmother, daughter and friend. Our family had five generations before she passed away.She is survived by her husband, Don; three daughters and three sons: Brent (Karen) Day, West Bountiful; Susan (Steve) Flanders, Farmington; Brad (Debi) Day, North Salt Lake; Sandy Day, Bountiful; Mark (Renita) Browne, Thief River Falls, Minnesota; Sharon (Greg) Howell, North Salt Lake; 22 grandchildren, one great-grandchild. She is also survived by her mother, Grace Williams, Bountiful; two sisters: Diane Walker, Fountain Green; Kathy Buchholzer, West Jordan; two brothers: David Williams, California; Wayne Williams, Denver. She was preceded in death by her father, George Williams, her first husband, Phil Day, and her son, Brian Day.

Funeral services will be held at 12 noon, Saturday, November 21, 1998 at the Orchard 8th Ward Chapel, 261 East Center Street, North Salt Lake where friends may call Friday evening from 6-8 p.m. and again Saturday morning from 10:45-11:45 a.m. at the church. Interment-Bountiful City Cemetery.

She always said her lucky number was 17 and she was right, because that is the day she went home to our Heavenly Father. Mother, you will always be remembered for your unconditional love and your good cooking!
