Eliza Jane BOWMAN was born 9 AUG 1870 to John Archer Bowman (1832 - ) and his wife Lorina (or Louwania) Jane Rhudy (1832-1877).
She married John H. Woodall, Jr. on August 9, 1887 (her 17th birthday), at Chatooga, Georgia. She and John had two daughters, one of whom was Beryl Lorene Woodall, my maternal grandmother, and the other was Cora Woodall, my Great Aunt.
Eliza died 20 September 1894, when she was only 24 years old, in Whitfield County, Georgia, and was buried in Mill Creek Cemetery, Whitfield County, Georgia.
John never remarried. His sister, Jane Woodall, moved in with him to help with the housework and to raise the two little girls.
Eliza Jane is my Great Grandmother.
