Glestie Mae Breedlove, 95, of Hickory, went home to be with her Lord Saturday, March 11, 2017.

Born May 26, 1921, she was the daughter of the late William Johnson and Marrah Mashburn Mason.

Glestie was an amazing cook, there wasn't anything she couldn't make. She was a loving and devoted wife, mother, grandmother, great-grandmother and friend to all who knew her.

In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Denver W. Breedlove; and a number of brothers and sisters.

Survivors include her children, Roy Breedlove, of Hickory and Betty Conway, of Hickory; grandchildren, Clayton Conway, Daniel Conway and Ann Conway; great-grandchildren, Cierra Conway, Walter Braun and Nicholas Braun; and sister, Edith Suttles.

A graveside service will be held Saturday, March 18, at 3 p.m. at Catawba Memorial Park. Burial will follow.

The family will receive friends prior to the service, from 1 to 2:45 p.m. at Catawba Funerals & Cremations.
