Terry Montgomery of Montevideo, Minnesota, died on Monday, December 5, 2016, at Advocate Condell Medical Center in Libertyville, Illinois, at the age of 62.
Terry Lee Montgomery was born in Los Angeles, California, to James and Donna (Anderson) Montgomery. Terry spent his early childhood in Aberdeen, South Dakota, until 1963, when his family moved to Montevideo, Minnesota. He attended school in Montevideo and graduated from Montevideo Senior High School in 1972. He married LouAnn Johnson at Jevnaker Lutheran Church on December 30, 1972. After attending college in Garden City, Kansas, Terry and LouAnn returned to Montevideo and raised four children together. Terry owned and operated T&M Construction and Montgomery Grain. He also traveled and worked with LouAnn in her business, Hare Hollow Kidz.
He is survived by his mother, Donna; his wife, LouAnn; their children: Jason, Melissa, Cole and Jordan; eight grandchildren; his siblings: Debbie, Scott, Doug and Todd.
He was preceded in death by his father, James.
