She was born in Washington Township, to John H. and Anna E. (Stalder) McCullough. On Dec. 4, 1937, she married Forest Opperman, who is deceased.
Surviving are two sons, Gary (Brenda) and David (Patty), both Wapakoneta; a daughter-in-law, Connie Opperman, of Celina; 11 grandchildren and 16 great grandchildren.
Preceding her in death is a son, Bobby Opperman; three brothers and four sisters.
A homemaker, she was a member of Salem United Methodist Church, Wapakoneta. She was a graduate of Blume High School, Wapakoneta, and enjoyed gardening and growing flowers.
