Mrs. Dr. Udo F. Basse nee Annie “Betty” Kaderli of Fredericksburg, Texas passed away in the Knopp Nursing & Rehab Center in Fredericksburg, on Thursday, March 16th, 2017 at the age of 89 years. She was born December 16th, 1927 in Fredericksburg, Texas the daughter of Othmar Kaderli and Elsie Wallendorf Kaderli, attended St. Mary’s School and graduated from there, married Udo Frank Basse, June 19th, 1950 in Hondo, Texas, life member of St. Mary’s Church, Hermann Sons, Central Texas Dental Auxiliary, and the St. Ann’s Society.
Preceded in death by her parents, husband, Dr. Udo Basse, brother, Marvin Kaderli.
Betty is survived by three sons, one daughter and spouses, Hank & Tammy Basse of Cedar Park, TX, David & Ranee Basse of Amarillo, Texas, Robert & Carol Basse of Coleman, Texas, Ruth Thurman of Fredericksburg, grandchildren, Karissa, Ryan, Jacob and Joshua Basse, sister in law, Peggy, Mrs. Adolph Basse of Fredericksburg.
Vigil Rosary services will be held on Sunday afternoon at 5:00 P.M. with St. Ann’s Society Rosary to follow, in the Schaetter Funeral Home in Fredericksburg, Texas
Mass of the resurrection will be celebrated on Monday, March 20th, 2017 at 10:00 A.M. in the St. Mary’s Catholic Church in Fredericksburg.
Graveside services and interment will follow in the St. Mary’s Cemetery in Fredericksburg.
Memorial donations in her memory may be made to the St. Ann’s Society, St. Joseph’s Halle Restoration or Hermann Sons Home.
Visitation for Betty Basse will be on Sunday afternoon from 3 to 6:00 P.M. and on Monday morning from 7 to 9:45 A.M. in the Schaetter Funeral Home in Fredericksburg.
