Deborah loved shopping, cooking, and spending time with her grandchildren. She enjoyed working at the church, especially with the children and ladies ministries. She has been serving God since her youth, and has been involved in full time ministry since 1981. Also as a kid she was known as Smiley around town. She was a loving and caring person and will be missed by all who knew and loved her.
She is survived by her husband, Pastor Scott Ballard of Dixon, a daughter, Sunshine Wilburn of Oklahoma, two sons, Scott Ballard Jr and wife Haley of Dixon, Shawn Ballard and wife Maria of Oklahoma, six grandchildren, Keaton, Gabriel, Inez, Sidney, Eddie, Norah, and soon coming Duncan, a brother, Dale Edward and wife Sharon of Cuba, a sister, Carol Sherrell and husband Lester of Dixon, her parents, Frank and Pauline Edwards of Dixon.
She is preceded in death by a brother, Charles "Chuck" Edwards.
Services for Deborah Ballard will be held at the Assembly of God Church in Dixon, Missouri, on Saturday, March 18, 2017, with visitation at 12:00 pm and funeral following at 2:00 pm. Interment will be held at the Seaton Cemetery.
All arrangements were made under the direction of the Teague and Sons Funeral Home.
