Leona was born in Emporia, Kansas to Claude and Clara Dreasher.
Leona moved to Albuquerque in 1948, were she built her home. Our deepest regret is that she wasn't able to be in her home of 65 years at the end.
Leona was a hard working, strong willed, determined mother of four, who touched so many lives along the way. Leona is loved by so many and will be dearly missed.
Leona was very active in her community. Leona loved to sew, work in her garden, read, be with her grandchildren whom she dearly loved.
Leona was preceded in death by her daughter, Glenda, husband, William Taylor, two sisters and three brothers.
Survivors include three children and numerous grandchildren and great-grandchildren.
A simple graveside service will be on Saturday, March 18, 2017 at 10:30 a.m. at Mount Calvary Cemetery.
