Phyllis Lorene Langston, 83, passed away on Thursday, March 16, 2017 at Parkview Regional Medical Center. She was born in Fort Wayne, IN on February 19, 1934, the daughter of the late Andrew and Mary Lee. Phyllis enjoyed playing bingo, and was a member of the Delta Rho Chapter of the Sigma Beta sorority. She was a very loving and caring person. Spending time with her family, having family gatherings and getting together for the Holidays were some of her favorite times. Surviving are her children; Susan McKale, James Langston, Cindy (Lewis) Shuler, John (Nancy) Langston, Jason (Nickoline) Langston, Joseph (Janice) Langston; siblings, Mary Eberle, and Judy (Jack) Tripoli LaPointe; 11 grandchildren, and 23 great-grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her husband of 45 years, Earl Langston; siblings, Wayne Lee, Charles Lee, Irene Jackson, Virginia Lichtsinn, and David Lee. Visitation will take place on Sunday, March 19, 2017 at D.O. McComb & Sons Pine Valley Park 1320 E. Dupont Road Fort Wayne, IN 46825 from 1-3 and 5-7pm. Funeral service will take place on Monday, March 20, 2017 also at the funeral home at 10AM with calling 1 hour prior. Burial to take place in Highland Park Cemetery, Fort Wayne, IN.
