John Paul Merritt, 46, of Pokagon, MI passed at on Wednesday, March 15, 2017. He was born on November 3, 1970 in Niles, MI.
John is survived by his mother, Mary I. (Lacy) Dodd of South Bend, IN; two sons, Jason Lee Merritt and Paul Ryan Merritt, both of Florida; sister, Kelly Marie Dodd of South Bend, IN and Michael Merritt of Niles, MI. He was preceded in death by his father, Harold Dean Merritt and brother Eugene Dodd Jr.
John graduated from Niles High School and was self employed. He loved gardening, planting vegetables and flowers.
There will be no services or visitation. Palmer Funeral Home-Guisinger Chapel and Southlawn Cremation Services are assisting the family.
